I have my answer on support....I see by the news, John Laesch will not support Congressman Bill Foster.
However, I wish John the best as he did battle to the end. I do not agree with his description of their differences and the labeling of Congressman Foster. But, as we are Democrats, differences and opinions are debatable topics. Also, I have to take my hat off to his many very committed organizational volunteers. Hopefully, their energy, along with all the Kendall County and 14th District Democrats can be channeled for the upcoming election in the cause of getting all Democrats Candidates elected to office!
Happily, in Plainfield Township unification is not an issue as we have interests in both the 11th & 13th Congressional Districts where we be working to elect two future Congressional members: Lockport Township’s Scott Harper and State Senate Majority Leader Debbie Halvorson. In Will County as a whole, excitement is a hot topic, especially following the unprecedented unanimous consent vote of Will County Democratic Leadership at our Caucus. Also, happily, Will County has a full slate of State and County Candidates for the November election.
And let us not forget, two candidates with election districts located in both Will and Kendall Counties: State Senator Linda Holmes and Dennis Grosskopf for State Representative.
My wish is that Democrats in Will, Kendall and all Northern Illinois' counties will rally and support the Organizations who are working to retain our current democratically elected Officials and battling to oust the sitting Republicans… replacing them with Democrats.
Wouldn't it be great to know the Republicans have conceded defeat and start finger pointing at all their Leadership? ....And the next morning, we can all see the headlines noting a landslide Democratic Victory!
