This guy has GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! I will never for one moment believe that Denny and his boys weren't behind 90% of the Laesch bashing.
I never once heard him accept the Laesch offer to debate - never once heard him do anything except run for cover during this campaign. Now he's going to blame Rahm for his defeat - do you think he'll ever understand that his defeat was due to the failed policies of the man he so enthusiastically stood behind (thanks Georgey!). Or perhaps it had something to do with the fact that he chose to protect his party over pages....or perhaps the fact that he was so comfortable in his "Speakers Office" that he never found the need or desire to come to his district and campaign or make any effort to talk to the voters in his district (unless, of course, they were in complete agreement with him).
Rob, you're 100% correct - I, too, must wonder how he would be reacting if Rahm, Madigan, or anybody outside of the Kendall County Democrats did anything to help Laesch. He would be crying like a baby if that happened I think.
