Let's recap...

Denny claims there is nothing to any of the ABC story saying he's under investigation.  He claims its payback from (likely liberal) people at Justice who are pissed at him for complaining about an FBI raid on a likely corrupt Democratic politcians office in the Capital building.  So what are they supposedly/maybe/maybe not investigating Denny for?

See, Denny signed a letter on behalf of and indian tribe that was represented by Abramoff.

Just so happens that Abramoff hosted a fundraising dinner for Denny just a mere seven days before this letter. 

More Abramoff clients donate to Hastert's PAC after the dinner too.

And it just so happens that Denny forgot to reimburse Abramoff for the use of his restaurant, as required, until Businessweek began an investigation more than two years later. 

And now sources tell ABC Abramoff is squeeling on Denny. 

Added context:  Denny is #1 in the House for donations from lobbyists & he is #3 all time recipient of Abramoff-related donations.

As my mother used to say to me "boy, you're just asking to get in trouble aren't you?"

How much of that money has he donated to charity - I wonder if he would consider a donation to the Midwest Homless shelter for Veterans - better yet, a sizable donation to the John Laesch campaign would be even better!!

I saw a local news article that said he donated to diabetes organization.

National media noted all over the place he woudl dump the funds...but never followed up that I can find to ensure he did.

I'm sure he dumped "SOME" of the funds...what inquiring minds want to know is how much he kept
