Modifying this list to include people really mad at Hastert, but stopping short of calling for resignation...
Leaders from about six dozen socially conservative groups held a conference call late yesterday afternoon, and participants were described as livid with House GOP leaders.
"They are outraged by how Hastert handled this," said Paul M. Weyrich, a conservative activist who participated in the call. "They feel let down, left aside. How can they allow a guy like [Foley] to remain chairman of the committee on missing and exploited children when there is any question about e-mails?"
Vin Weber, a GOP lobbyist close to the White House and to congressional leaders, said many Republicans outside of Washington are echoing Bossie. [Bossie noted in above post]

I suppose unnamed senior GOP officials counts, right?
House Speaker Dennis Hastert, under fire for his handling of the Foley page scandal, may have just one or two days to turn the affair around–or quiet it– or face being forced to step aside, say senior GOP House and party officials

Yet another...How many conservative activits are there in this country anyhow?
When asked Tuesday if Speaker Hastert should resign, conservative activist Paul Weyrich said, "Yes, I think it would be better if he did."

Has anybody noticed that as much as Hastert is in the press lately, you do not hear one news organization mentioning the fact he is running against John Leasch. Channel 2 last night ran an interview with Denny and didn't even mention his running against John Leasch in the back story.
Damn the liberal media! |

I hear that the Beacon News will be doing a story tomorrow as follow-up to today's interview with Hastert.
Agree that not enough is said about John Laesch, but the only way we are going to change their behavior is by contacting those organziations...that's what I do.
You might be surprised to know they actually read their email too. |

We all owe Mr. Hastert a big thanks for all the publicity John Laesch is getting.
William, heard Laesch interviewed on NPR All Things Considered today. Especially sweet was the reporter noting that no one in the Hastert would comment, then Laesch got in a good one minute of commentary.
Laesch said he's received $25,000 in donations in the last 48 hours.
Excellent! |

| Yes, I saw him on Hardball, obviously I was just a little fast on criticizing the media. It looks like they are ramping up the coverage. Of course for some reason beyond my comprehension I have been criticized in some locations of the internet for posting my observation. Go figure! |

Yet another Conservative Republican calling for Hastert's ouster...
(CHICAGO) Maverick Republican Party leader Andy Martin will hold a Chicago news conference Thursday, October 5th at 3:00 P.M. to demand that U. S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert step down because of his incompetence and maladministration.

I am happy to finally see John Laesch finally getting some coverage. And you were right William, the media was sluggish in getting it started.
Also happy to finally see the Hastert operations being exposed. |

Another...JOHN MCINTYRE, conservative blogger at realclearpolitics.com said...
Republicans have to get all of the facts and the truth out to the American people...If the truth means that one, two, three, or none of their leaders need to step aside, so be it. Because right now the House Republican leaders look inept, confused, pathetic, and more concerned with their individual power and position than with the truth.
