I didn't get a change to make the parade in Oswego - I hate it when last minute "stuff happens".  At any rate, I think it's important to point out that Jim and Jean Birch did a GREAT job on the float and they did it alone! 

Also thanks need to go out the Feeleys, Mike Barr, Jim Lausier, and everyone else who helped man the booth at Prarie Fest.  Everyone withstood the heat and the storms and let the residents of Kendall County know that there are Democrats here.

We're glad Tom liked the float. It's our own fault we didn't have more help. We were too busy once Jim's mother was sick to call people to help. Before that, Jean had gotten advice from Marnie and she'd offered to help but her schedule didn't connect with Jean's. Besides, she was busy making signs. Chuck drew the buildings and Tom came over Sunday to help put it together.
