For those interested in attending any of the public hearings regarding landfill siting in Kendall County - here is the schedule. The Kendall County Democrats believe ample consideration should be given to existing alternative technologies before we agree to implement outdated, inadequate, and polluting landfills. Keep in mind that in addition to the problems with the landfills themselves, we would have to deal with a major increase in garbage truck traffic resulting not only from our own trash, but trash being trucked in from other areas. Please attend any hearings you can to demonstrate that residents are paying attention!

As the hearings proceed the Hearing Officer may alter the public hearing dates based on the proceedings and evidence presented during the previous hearings. The public information meeting as well as all public hearings will take place at the
