OK, I'm hoping my fellow Democrats will enlighten me...but for weeks I've been telling people in my precinct that our polling place is not 'roth rd & wolf rd' as it literally states (or Prairie Church as it should have stated). Today, I learned...via the most poorly created County Clerk website among nearby County Clerk websites... that my polling place is now Plank Jr. High. Yikes! Kendall County Clerk Polling Place List LINK I may have missed a notification mailer, but my wife and I didn't miss new voter cards. So, the question is open...how was I supposed to know we had a new voting place? Can someone please tell me...

I meant to say I've been telling people vote at Prarie Church. But that is not correct. (William, can we enable an "edit" feature on postings?)

Rob, There will be 4 precincts there tomorrow....Oswego 4, 24, 27, and 30. Old Oswego 4 and 27 used to vote at the church - now all of us are going to the school. I think folks will figure it out and I'll bet there will be a sign at the church stating so.

I assumed that too Tom...my problem is with Anderson's execution. It's beyond poor. Take for example Will County. I was helping some voters today and wouldn't you know, right on the website, and within the list of pollling places, was a warning that polling places might have changed, and get this..."your new polling place will be listed on your new voter registration card." I would love to know how Anderson notified County residents of these most recent changes...which by themselves are just fine with me...to ensure that we are all fully informed on Election Day? Just one more example of how our County Clerk's office needs to step out of the 1980's.
