I bought my Dodge Magnum because it looked cool and was really fast. It guzzles gas but the faster we use it up the faster the government and the private sector will have to come up with alternatives.
There is a reason the Japanese models are more full efficient. The Japanese have to import, I think, 100% of their oil and they pay a ton for gas. This forced them to take up fuel efficiency early in the game. As society continues to advance in automated manufacturing and robotic assembly non skilled workers are going to have fewer and fewer job opportunities. |
