I think there is plenty of analysis on the whole embryonic stem cell research issue.

Instead, I would just like to point out that in 2001, when this whole issue came to the front of the news cycle...President Bush was asked about his feelings on the proposed bill.  At that time he said, "I'm thinking about it," Bush told reporters last week before joining family for a three-day weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine. "There are no timetables."

Fast forward to yesterday, when on the same day the House passed the bill HR810...President Bush vetoed it.  The same day...

Funny how things change in an election year eh?
